Development lottery underway in Banff

The Town of Banff is holding another random draw to decide who gets the next chance for commercial developments. Since development in the town was capped two years ago, Banff holds lotteries to allocate space and keep development at a controlled rate of 1.5% per year. Randall McKay, planning and development manager for Banff, says seven applications have been made for the largest allotment.
