“I must allow that Canada has Banff, a jewel of a city situated in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, but America has Aspen, a town that combines the best of East Coast gluttony and West Coast flakiness. Besides, people wandering the streets of Banff might be confronted by caribou, whereas in Aspen the only risk to public safety is the large number of pretentious, vacant-eyed jackasses driving expensive automobiles.”
